1. Corrected a bug which caused the password used on deployment to be incorrectly encrypted. This resulted in a bad length or bad data error on deployment of PerfectDisk from the Command Center.
2. Alternate synchronize interface is available for customers experiencing sync issues.
3. Added a registry value to block going to the Raxco web site when clicking on the Online Resource Tab.
4. Fixed a SQL statement for SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 servers.
5. Added more detail to the error messages when the Command Center fails to connect to a client.
6. Stopped the auto-refresh function from rerunning reports. This was causing the report data to change while you were reviewing it.

6. Added code to prevent the same file type being used in multiple File Type Groups. For example, .txt can now only belong to a single file type group.
7. Corrected various sort issues where data was not being sorted according to its data type (dates, numbers, text).

What's new in PerfectDisk build 8.00.35

• PerfectDisk Command Center
1. Some enhancements were made to the Command Center:
   Command Center will refresh every 30 seconds to get the latest data
   Reports are now color coded to indicate alerts/warnings
   Print functionality was added to Reports
   Ability to connect to a remote computer was added to the Report results
2. Several changes were made to the Managed Computers functionality. Browsing computers was fixed and made faster. Bugs were corrected when manually adding computers. Enhancements were incorporated to make it easier to know when computers did not have assigned logins.
3. Screen Saver and One-time schedules were added to the Schedule Report.
4. Remote Desktop Connection does not work if the Command Center is on a X64 or IA64 operating system. This has been corrected but will require an un-install and re-install of the Command Center.
5. You could not edit a screen saver schedule from the Command Center. This has been corrected.
6. Email notification did not always work as expected. We have fixed this and tried to give more meaningful error messages if the email configuration is not valid.
• PerfectDisk Client
1. Some enhancements were made to PerfectDisk:
   Ability to abort a schedule shutdown was added to the Tools menu
   Additional statistics were added including a Drive Performance Rating and historical file and free space fragmentation trends
   Print functionality was added to the logs and statistics.
2. When installing v8.0 over an existing v7.0 installation, some PerfectDisk v7.0 settings were not correctly migrated to v8.0. This has been corrected.
3. When using Config.ini to preconfigure all v8.0 schedules, settings, etc, some values were not correctly set. This has been corrected.
4. Schedule maximum duration was incorrectly set if the schedule included both online and offline passes. This has been corrected.
5. Even though a schedules pass should occur in series, it some times started defragging all drives in parallel. This was due to a timing condition and has been fixed.
6. There were some issues with single file defrag and excluding files on mount points. This has been corrected.
7. There were several Exchange defrag issues with configuration settings and schedules. They have all been fixed.
